Spin Move

You can perform a spin by pressing B (Xbox) or Circle (PlayStation) on your controller and moving the left stick in the direction you want to run. This move allows you to avoid defenders or a potential tackle.

Juke Move

A juke is performed by moving the right analog stick on your controller in the direction you want to move. As the name suggests, this move is used to trick defenders into making the wrong move.

Stiff Arm

Doing a stiff arm requires you to press and hold the A (Xbox) or X (PlayStation) button on your controller when a defender comes running toward you for a tackle. This allows the ball carrier to keep running without losing momentum.

Also known as the Stop and Go juke, you perform this action by moving the right analog stick of your controller while running with the ball. The ball carrier will briefly stop running to avoid defenders coming from the side.

Reach for It

When your player is being tackled or starting to go down, you can use the Reach for It move by holding the right analog stick upward. This makes your player extend the ball forward with their arm, potentially gaining an extra yard or two. You need to time it perfectly, just as you’re entering the falling animation.

Dive Move

To do a dive, press and hold the X (Xbox) or Square (PlayStation) button on your controller. This move is good for getting extra yards for a potential touchdown. However, you will be tackled if a defender is in front of you.
