During the URA Finale mode in Umamusume Pretty Derby, your horse girl can acquire negative conditions that can only be treated in the Infirmary. If you do not treat these conditions quickly enough, you will face major setbacks during your playthrough. The acquisition of these conditions is completely random, and there is no way to know when you will get one beforehand.

To help you out, here is how you can use the Infirmary in Umamusume Pretty Derby.

When you first start a playthrough in the URA Finale mode, you get a lot of options on your trainee screen. However, two of the options are initially grayed out and cannot be interacted with: Races and Infirmary. You unlock Races after your debut run, but the Infirmary unlocks only once you obtain a negative condition. Every time you complete a day, there is a chance to obtain one after events or resting.

Going to the Infirmary uses up a whole day, but cures the negative condition as well. However, some of the worst conditions can take multiple Infirmary visits to completely heal. Fortunately, going to the Infirmary also gives you a little bit of energy back in case you do not heal from the negative condition on the first try.

Worst Negative Conditions in Umamusume Pretty Derby

Here are some of the negative conditions that you should get rid of the moment you catch them:

  • Slow Metabolism: This condition completely stops any increase in speed from training or events. With speed being the most important stat for any Uma Girl, having this can be very detrimental to your run.
  • Slacker: This condition makes it so that your trainee will simply refuse to do anything but rest for a few days. Moreover, this condition can take multiple days to go away, as removing it is completely random.
  • Non-Distance Reduction: Your trainee will perform poorly in any race whose length is not divisible by 400m. For some playthroughs, this condition can be very devastating.
