With the Pet Mutation update, Grow a Garden players can obtain many new dinosaurs as pets by hatching the newly added Primal Egg. Among them is the legendary tier pet Pachycephalosaurus.

This article will be going over Pachycephalosaurus’ traits and explain how it can boost your Grow a Garden Roblox experience.

Grow a Garden Pet Guide: Pachycephalosaurus Trait Explained

Like the other dinosaur pets, Pachycephalosaurus will not only give a Jurassic Park feel to your garden, but also give you a boost while it is equipped. Having one in your garden grants you the possibility to get double items while crafting. Here is a more detailed explanation of its trait:

Crafty Dome: Every time you craft, this pet has a chance to double the items gained. This works for all types of crafting in Grow a Garden, be it event-specific or from the default Crafting Table.
The chance percentage starts at around 6%. As the pet ages, this doubling chance increases.

The Pachycephalosaurus is quite a handy pet if you plan on crafting items. Certain items, such as the Lightning Rod, are quite expensive to make and require players to wait for hours. If the effect procs, you will be able to get two Lightning Rods for the price and wait time of one.

This also works for the Prehistoric Event crafting table. Meaning, you can get double the amount of Amber Mutation Spray or Dinosaur Eggs for the same ingredients.

Having multiple Pachycephalosaurus is also a viable strategy. Equip them in your garden and then collect the items from the crafting table. The effect will stack, giving you a better chance to duplicate items. Of course, certain Pet Mutations will also help boost your pet.

How To Get the Pachycephalosaurus Pet in Grow a Garden

There is a 28% chance of getting Pachycephalosaurus when you hatch the Primal Egg. The Pet Mutation Update added the Primal Egg as a new egg. Like the Dinosaur Egg, you can get several legendary-tier dinosaur pets from it. There are two ways to get hold of a Primal Egg:

Craft it from the Prehistoric Event crafting table. As of the latest patch, you will need to submit a Dinosaur Egg, a Bone Blossom, and 5.5 million Sheckles. Then wait for 30 minutes to get the Primal Egg.
You can also get the egg from the DNA Machine at the center of the map. Submit eggs after upgrading them to stand a chance of getting one or multiple Primal Eggs.
