With Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim, Diablo 4 introduces several new mechanics, with the Horadric Spells remaining a standout. The Horadric Spellcraft system lets you customize powerful spells by combining Catalysts, Infusions, and Arcana. Each determines the different aspects of your spell, with the Infusions specifically modifying the type of elemental damage of your spell. Glacial Nimbus is one of the five Infusions, allowing your spell to deal Cold and Frostbiting attacks.

How To Obtain Glacial Nimbus in Diablo 4
You can obtain Glacial Nimbus by completing the Keepers of the Glen, Season 9’s Seasonal Quest. Particularly, you need to clear the Horadric Strongrooms and retrieve a blood relic. Find the Strongroom by using a Nightmare Sigil, then fight your way and clear the Strongroom. This rewards you with the blood relic. Once you collect the blood relic, the Keepers of the Glen quest will complete, and you will be rewarded with Glacial Nimbus.
How To Use Glacial Nimbus in Diablo 4
The Glacial Nimbus is one of the five Infusions for Horadric Spells. It imbues your Spell Catalyst with Cold and or Frostbiting damage. Additionally, enemies damaged by it are Chilled for 15-25% (based on its Rank). This effect happens once per enemy every 1 second.
While equipped, your Cold Damage Bonus is equal to that of your highest Damage Type Bonus. You can also upgrade the Glacial Nimbus Infusion using Horadric Phial from the Horadric Spellcraft Menu. While Ranks 2-4 cost 25 Horadric Phials, Ranks 5-10 require 75 Horadric Phials. Upon reaching Rank 5, it also deactivates monster Explosive effects for 5 seconds.
