Diablo 4 is a fairly challenging game. Sure, it’s no Soulslike, but the number of mobs it throws at you is nothing to scoff at. You’ll run through tons of mobs in the game, often barely scraping by with little HP. This is doubly true if you use spells, but thankfully, the game has plenty of ways to heal in a pinch. The Invigorating Helix is a brand-new Arcana that helps with exactly that.
The Invigorating Helix is an Arcana that modifies your Catalyst to fortify and heal you for 6% of your max HP. This occurs once every 5 seconds per enemy. The reduced damage and healing potential make Invigorating Helix one of the best defensive Arcanas in the game, and if you don’t have this one yet, we’re here to help.

How To Get Invigorating Helix in Diablo 4 Season 9
You get the Invigorating Helix as a drop from Horadric Strongrooms in the game. However, the Invigorating Helix is a rare Arcana, so you have to unlock the rare loot pool for the strongrooms first. In order to do so, you must reach Rank 3 on the Horadric Knowledge Board. Once you reach Rank 3 reputation, the game will grant you a Rare Arcana Reputation Cache, which unlocks rare items and adds them to your loot pool.

After you have rare items in your loot pool, follow the steps below:
- Interact with a Nightmare Sigil to enter a Nightmare Dungeon. The Horadric Strongrooms are inside Nightmare Dungeons.
- Proceed through the Nightmare Dungeon and use the Horadric Wayfinder to find the entrance to the strongrooms.
- The Horadric Wayfinder will lead you to the Horadric Gateway. Interact with this gate to enter the Horadric Strongroom.
- Once you’re in the strongroom, you’re on a timer and need to clear out the room fast. Collect Attunement to fill up the Attunement meter as much as you can before the timer runs out.
- Once the time is up, a boss will spawn. Beat this boss and you’ll get a loot cache with rare items inside. There’s a chance to find the Invigorating Helix inside this cache.
