Popular Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel, better known as xQc, was recently jumpscared by Grow a Garden developer Jandel while he was streaming. Felix was playing the popular Roblox game on July 17, 2025, when the developer, Jandel, used the in-built troll feature to scare xQc, and it was super effective. The Twitch star was quite scared when a creepy image with a loud sound suddenly appeared on his stream, and he threw away his headset in panic.
Clips of the incident were shared on YouTube, X, and other social media platforms, garnering hundreds of thousands of views within hours.
“That’s Actually Diabolical”- xQc Throws Away His Headset After Grow a Garden Developer Scares Him on Stream
Grow a Garden is a wildly popular game on Roblox that has beaten concurrent player records. Last month, it surpassed Fortnite, peaking at over 20 million live players. In a recent Twitch stream, xQc decided to check the game out and started playing it with Jandel, one of the leading developers.
The dev was initially showing him the ropes, but then something completely unexpected happened. Most Roblox games have a feature where you can troll others by paying Robux. You can make an image with a custom sound appear out of nowhere. This is what Jandel did to scare xQc. And it worked! The Twitch streamer was caught unawares and, in a moment of panic, threw away the headset as seen in the image above.
xQc proceeded to ask his chat about it:
“Ahh! Who did that? Who did that, who did that?”
After he recovered, xQc was given the same treatment again, catching him off guard once more. This time, the streamer decided to stop wearing headsets and said:
“Oh my god! Oh my god, dude. Okay, I am leaving the headphones off. This is crazy. Awful. Actually awful! Is that part of the game? I don’t get it.”
At this point, Jandel apologized in in-game chat, writing:
“Im sorry”
xQc was still shocked and responded by saying that the jumpscare was “crazy”:
“Chat, can only the dev do that? That is crazy!”
Reading the apology, xQc put the headset on, thinking that Jandel had stopped. However, that was not the case. Jandel used the jumpscare for the third time, scaring xQc once more. In response, the streamer called the Grow a Garden dev “diabolical”:
“Bro, he is looking at me putting the headphones on. That’s actually diabolical.”
Fair to say, the developer and the viewers had the time of their lives having trolled xQc on multiple occasions.
