If you are a fan of the recently released Squid Game (Netflix series), then Ink Game on Roblox will be interesting to you. Developed by games i think, the game was first released in December 2024. Since then, it has garnered over 631 million visits and currently boasts an active player base of over 260K. The game has various gameplay mechanics. One of them is Dashing. It is a special movement ability in the game. Let’s learn how you can perform a Dash in Ink Game.

What is Dash and how to perform it in Ink Game?

Dash is the special ability for Ink Game where players can move quickly forward to avoid incoming attacks, keep out of danger, or even use it to their advantage playing mini-games. It is especially handy in high-pressure moments, like dodging attacks in the Rebel ending or fighting off elimination in mini-games like Red Light, Green Light, or Hide and Seek.

How to Dash in Ink Game

There are two primary methods to unlock the Dash ability in Ink Game, and once unlocked, it is activated by pressing the Q key on PC. Let’s learn:

Upgrade the Faster Speed Stat:

First, you have to access the in-game Shop (basket icon in the lobby). Navigate to the green Upgrades tab and select the Faster Speed option.
Upgrade the Faster Speed stat to Level 5 by spending Won, the in-game currency earned through playing matches.
Upgrading Faster Speed not only unlocks Dash at Level 5 but also increases your base walking and sprinting speed with each level, making you generally faster.
Once unlocked, you can press “Q” to perform a Dash.

Roll the Phantom Step Power:

Get the Phantom Step Power using Power Rolls (Legend level, 2.9% drop chance).
Open the Shop, navigate to the Powers tab and roll a power to receive a random power.
Equip Phantom Step in Powers, then press “Q” to trigger dashes while in a mission.

Note: Since only one power can be equipped at a time, you may prefer other powers like Super Strength for different strategic advantages.
