Neon Abyss 2 is a cyberpunk-esque roguelike, which is currently in Early Access. You play as an Agent, and the game lets you choose from a wide range of options. Each agent has separate skills and abilities, so your choice will determine how the rest of the game plays out. While you can play the game through Steam on PC for now, there currently isn’t any support for crossplay in Neon Abyss 2.

Why Is There No Crossplay in Neon Abyss 2?
Neon Abyss 2 is exclusive to PC right now, and it’s only available via Steam. With no immediate release on any of the other platforms, including PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, crossplay simply won’t be possible. Even if you want to play the game in co-op with your friends, all of the players will need to own a PC with Steam installed.
Similarly, any progress you make in the game is tied to your Steam account only. So, there isn’t any cross-save support in the Early Access version, at least. If you want to play the game from a different PC, you’ll need to either log in to the same Steam account or start over when using a different account.

Crossplay in Neon Abyss 2: Will It Happen in the Future?
Veewo Games has confirmed that a console version of Neon Abyss 2 will be available when the game exits its Early Access. So, you will eventually be able to play the game on your Playstation and Xbox consoles at some point down the road. The developer hasn’t issued any statement indicating when the Early Access might end. They have also not confirmed if the game will support cross-platform play once Neon Abyss 2 lands on consoles.
However, many similar roguelikes have added crossplay after their full release, and a similar thing could happen in this case too. It would make multiplayer and co-op seamless and the developer might be open to this particular feedback from its player base. But, for now, you can’t enjoy crossplay in the game.
