Donkey Kong Bananza is a decently long game, especially if you are looking for a hundred percent completion. The game will be shorter if you focus only on the main story. However, even after finishing the game, there are a bunch of activities and new modes that you can try out.

There are some bonus rewards and mechanics that only get unlocked during the post-game of Donkey Kong Bananza. Here is everything to know about these.

5 Things To Do After Finishing Donkey Kong Bananza (Post-Game Guide)

There are tons of new activities and rewards you should focus on after beating the game once. These are:

  • Post-Game Outfits
  • Grumpy Kong’s Projects
  • Rowdy Race
  • Collect all Gems, Fossils and Discs
  • Bananza Rehearsal

There are a bunch of outfits you can unlock for Donkey Kong and Pauline after completing the game. Some major outfits that are obtainable during the post-game are:

  • Invisibility Tie (Donkey Kong)
  • Gold-Mining Gear (Pauline)
  • Mining Helmet (Donkey Kong)
  • Diva Dress (Pauline)

These are all obtainable via various activities, which are a major focus during the post-game. However, the Diva Dress outfit can also be claimed earlier by scanning the Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo figure.

Grumpy Kong’s Projects

You can complete various construction projects by going back to Ingot Isle and talking to Grumpy Kong. There will be three projects you need to finish, and each will cost a certain amount of gold.

  • Battle Rush – 5,000 Gold
  • Boss Rush – 10,000 Gold
  • Baboomtown Restoration Project – 120,000 Gold

All in all, you will need 130,000 Gold to complete all the projects, after which you will get the earlier-mentioned Invisibility Tie.

Go back to the Racing Layer to compete in a race different from the regular race. This Rowdy Race will be a special race that you can compete in repeatedly for better times.

Defeat Diddy and Dixie Kong as fast as possible to set new records.

Collect all Gems, Fossils, and Discs

There are a ton of collectibles in the game. These include Banandium Gems, Fossils, and even Music Discs. If you are aiming for completion, then the post-game will be the best time to collect all of these.

These will be scattered throughout the different layers, mini-games, and various other mini-games.

Once you have finished the story, head back to the Lagoon Layer. Here, you must talk to Kong Elder to start the Bananza Rehearsal. There are a total of six rehearsals you can participate in. These are:

  • Kong Elder – 300 Banandium Gems
  • Zebra Elder – 350 Banandium Gems
  • Ostrich Elder – 400 Banandium Gems
  • Elephant Elder – 500 Banandium Gems
  • Snake Elder – 600 Banandium Gems
