Here’s every item you can get from the Zen Crate and how to earn Chi fast in Grow a Garden’s Latest Zen Event (July 2025).
The Grow a Garden developers have just released a peaceful new update called the Zen Event. This limited-time event runs from July 19 to July 26, 2025, and introduces a calming, Japanese-inspired theme focused on balance, serenity, and mindful gardening. It’s part of version 1.15.0 and adds new cosmetics, event currencies, and a crate filled with tranquil-themed rewards.
Zen Crate in Grow a Garden
The Zen Crate is a legendary-tier crate added during the Zen Event. When placed, each crate offers 7 randomized rewards pulled from a pool of Zen-themed cosmetics. You can buy a Zen Crate for 15 Chi or 179 Robux. Once opened, it takes 60 minutes to unlock.

How To Get Chi in Grow a Garden
Chi is the limited event currency used to purchase Zen Crates, Zen Seed Packs, Zen Pet Eggs, and other exclusive event items. You can’t earn Chi through normal gameplay; it only comes from submitting Tranquil mutated fruits.
You can turn these fruits in at the following:
- Brown Raccoon (primary method)
- Unk the Monk (for Zen Tree contributions)
The rarer the Tranquil fruit, the more Chi you earn.
