How To Beat Inflammonite in Donkey Kong Bananza
This giant spherical creature looks intimidating. However, it reveals its weakness during the introduction cinematic when snow falls on top of it. Your goal throughout this fight will be to launch snow at this boss while it is charging towards you.
Inflammonite doesn’t have a very diverse or difficult moveset to counter. It will roll towards you, leaving a burning trail behind. You should move out of its way and use your own roll if it gets too close for comfort.

There will be snow patches on the ground scattered throughout the arena. Approach these snow piles and grab them. Aim and toss these at Inflammonite, which will make it spiral out of control and hit the walls of the arena. Consequently, this will drop a huge pile of snow on top of Inflammonite and dispel its fiery coating.
You need to approach the stone coating that has been formed instead and break it open. Inflammonite (now revealed to be a Hermit crab-like creature) will try to run from you by making ice bridges into the air. You need to catch up to it and punch it once to knock it back down. You need to repeat this process three times to defeat the boss.
Tips for Defeating Inflammonite in Donkey Kong Bananza
Here is the fastest method of defeating this boss:
- Use Kong Bananza to easily break open the stone coating while the boss is stunned from the snow.
- Meanwhile, Zebra Bananza can chase down the boss during its vulnerable state.
- Using your roll can be a good way to avoid its rolling attacks.
