Hand Slap in Donkey Kong Bananza
Hand slap is a feature in Donkey Kong Bananza, which you can use to send out a wave that collects any item in the near surroundings. To activate the move, you have to press the ‘R’ button on your Joy-Con. This move can be performed on the ground or when hanging from the ceiling.
When hanging from a ceiling, instead of his hands, Donkey Kong will slap his feet together, sending out the item-collecting wave. This move will save the time you would otherwise need to crawl all over the area. When Donkey Kong slaps his hand, you will be able to collect all the nearby gold and Banandium chips.
Sonar Feature With Hand Slap
During your exploration, certain items may be kept hidden behind various breakable objects such as terrains or walls. You can use Donkey Kong’s hand slap to act as a sonar, which will help locate such items. When you slap your hands, for a brief moment, the object highlights, guiding you towards the exact place to dig it out from.
You can further upgrade this move using the Banandium chips you collect on your way. This will extend the area across which the wave spreads, helping you locate and collect items further away.
