What Does the Tranquil Radar Do in Grow a Garden?

The Tranquil Radar is the latest gear in Roblox’s popular Grow a Garden game. Added during Update 1.15.1 on July 20, it is a rare-tier gear tied to the ongoing Zen Event. It is only the second radar-type gear in Grow a Garden. In this article, we will be exploring what the Tranquil Radar does and how you can obtain it.

How To Use the Tranquil Radar in Grow a Garden

The Tranquil Radar works very much like the Pollen Radar, which was released back during the Bizzy Bees event a few months ago. It detects and harvests all plants with the Tranquil mutation on them. Follow these steps to use it:

1. Equip the Tranquil Radar and stand in your garden.
2. To use it, click anywhere on the screen (or tap anywhere if on mobile).
3. A bubble will start forming around your character. It will harvest all crops with the Tranquil mutation in the range.
4. It is a single-use item. It will disappear after you use it once.

This is a very useful item for players taking part in the Zen Event. For context, your main aim during the event is to exchange plants with the Tranquil mutation for items, eggs, and seeds. At the top of every hour, random plants in your garden get the Tranquil mutation during the Zen Event. Unless you are tracking the orbs, it is quite difficult to track and harvest the right crops. The Tranquil Radar can make your job a lot easier. 

How To Get the Tranquil Radar

Now, let us look at how you can get the gear. As of right now, it is only available at the Zen Shop. You can buy it with Chi, the new in-game currency introduced in the latest patch. Follow these steps:

1. Walk up to the Tanuki NPC in the Zen Event area at the center of the map.
2. Select the Open Zen Shop prompt.
3. Scroll down till you see the Tranquil Radar and buy it for 18 Chi or 199 Robux.

Do note that it is a limited item and will probably not be available to craft after the Zen Event ends. To get Chi, you will need to exchange Tranquil Plants with the Tanuki NPC. The higher your crop’s tier, the more Chi you will get for it.
