Here is what you need to know about the Year 1 roadmap of Killing Floor 3 and what content is arriving in the game soon.
Killing Floor 3 has just dropped, and Tripwire has already revealed a Year 1 roadmap for players to check out. The first year will focus on improving the game, especially the performance issues that players are experiencing. On top of that, the roadmap also includes new content. This includes a new Specialist, a perk, a boss, weapons, and much more.
With that said, Tripwire is listening to community feedback and is looking to release some possible fixes for the game. Here is a quick rundown of what the Killing Floor 3 Year 1 Roadmap contains and what you need to know.

Killing Floor 3 Year 1 Roadmap, Explained
The Killing Floor 3 Year 1 Roadmap covers major content arriving from the remainder of 2025 to mid-2026. The upcoming update contains a ton of new content, and the best part is that it’s all free to download. This means you won’t have to spend money to get the upcoming updates for the game.
2025 Content Update
For 2025, the first phase will feature the Rearmament Update. The upcoming content promises perk and Specialist decoupling. This means perks will no longer be tied to a specific character in the game. You can assign these perks to other Specialists for a more customizable experience.
The update will also include some new weapons and mods. On top of that, several quality-of-life features will be added to the game, along with much-needed performance improvements. Tripwire has revealed some of the weapons you can expect to arrive in the game.
The next phase of the update welcomes Season 2 of Killing Floor 3. The second season will include a new map titled “Prison,” a new type of Zed, more weapons, and mods. On top of that, a new assignment campaign and rewards also await players when the next season starts. Furthermore, a new Specialist named DJ Scully will also be added to the game.

2026 Content Update
As for the 2026 update, it will feature Season 3 and Season 4 content of Killing Floor 3. For the third season, a new map titled “Research Base” will be added. On top of that, more weapons and mods will also be included in the update. Furthermore, the game will introduce a new enemy, as well as a new set of assignment campaigns and rewards.
For Season 4, a new perk called the Gunslinger will be added to the game, along with a new map and a boss. As usual, there will also be new weapons and mods, as well as a new campaign and rewards.
