Grow a Garden has released its new update called the Corrupted Event (July 26, 2025). The event introduces a darker, chaotic twist to the tranquil Zen Event. As it is with other events, this event also introduces a host of new plants. The new event sees six new plants added to the game. This article will explain what they are and how to get them.

All New Plants in Grow a Garden Corrupted Event

Sakura Bush

• Source: Zen Shop (purchased with Zen Points).
• Yield: Multiple (produces multiple crops per plant).
• Sale Value: 37,000 Sheckles (base value per crop, significantly higher with mutations).

Dezen

• Source: Kitsune Box (random drop, purchased with Sheckles or Robux).
• Yield: Single (produces one crop per plant).
• Sale Value: 29,000 Sheckles (base value, boosted with mutations).

Lucky Bamboo

• Source: Kitsune Box (random drop, purchased with Sheckles or Robux).
• Yield: Single (produces one crop per plant).
• Sale Value: 110,000 Sheckles (high base value, further boosted with mutations).

Enkaku

• Source: Corrupt Channeler NPC (reward for turning in Tranquil-mutated crops with specific weight requirements).
• Yield: Multiple (produces multiple crops per plant).
• Sale Value: 77,000 Sheckles (base value per crop, high with mutations).

Tranquil Bloom

• Source: Kitsune Box (random drop, purchased with Sheckles or Robux).
• Yield: Multiple (produces multiple crops per plant).
• Sale Value: N/A

Elder Strawberry

• Source: Seed Shop (purchased with Sheckles).
• Yield: Multiple (produces 4-5 large strawberries per plant).
• Sale Value: 81,000 Sheckles (base value per crop, 4x-5x higher than regular strawberries due to size and mutations).

Which is the Best Plant in the Corrupted Event?

Elder Strawberry is the best seed due to its high sale value (81,000 Sheckles per crop, 4-5 crops per plant) and easy Seed Shop access, maximizing profits with Corrupt Mutation (up to 8.1M–10.125M Sheckles per plant).

However, if you’re relatively new to the game and have limited resources, then the Dezen is a good option. While it has the lowest sale value, it has a faster growth, making it suitable for quick quest turn-ins.
