Abiotic Factor, the survival crafting game by Deep Field Games, challenges players to survive in an alien-infested underground research facility. While crafting and combat play an essential role in Abiotic Factor, the co-op survival also features some tricky missions, starting with the very first one.
As you begin in the Office Sector, speak with Dr. Thule. He explains that his colleague, Dr. Jager, is trapped behind the Cafeteria Door and tasks you to open the door for him. Navigating to the Cafeteria Door
After speaking with Dr. Thule, look to the right behind him to find the Storage Room door. Enter the room and dismantle the third vent’s cover. Crawl into it and follow the path until you enter another room. Enter the right-side vent and defeat the Carbuncle inside. Continue through the path to enter the chamber with red-light fans. Defeat the Carbuncle and enter the vent with the yellow light on your front. Reach the end of the path and drop into another chamber filled with pipes.
Follow the pipes, and you will find a yellow door past the computer terminal. Open the yellow door to get to the kitchen. You will find several enemies inside the kitchen. After clearing them, push the green button to open the gate, which leads you to the other side. Get to the main Security area, and you will find the Cafeteria Door on your left, behind which Dr. Jager is locked out.
Opening the Cafeteria Door With Energy Brick
To open the Cafeteria Door, you need to power up the Door Control Module near the door. The module is occupied by an enemy. Once you clear it, approach the module to learn that you need an Energy Brick. You can craft an Energy Brick with a Power Supply Unit, Circuit Board, Tech Scrap, and Case Fan. Fortunately, you can find all the required items from the nearby rooms by destroying the electrical items, such as computers, monitors, and printers.
Gather the required materials and craft the Energy Brick at a Powered Crafting Bench. Insert the Energy Brick at the Door Control Module, which opens the door. Once you open the door, a Peccary ambushes Dr. Jager from behind and initiates a battle.
