Mage Arena is a PvP game that throws you into an arena where mages contest battles with spells. The premise is extremely enjoyable, and the game is fairly simple, all things considered. The matches are contested in old school fashion, where you join a lobby and then pick a team, and are immediately dropped on the side you pick.

If you’re just getting started with Mage Arena and are confused about how joining a match or hosting private lobbies works, this guide should spell things out for you.

How To Join a Game in Mage Arena

You can join an active game of Mage Arena by following the steps below:

  • Boot up Mage Arena and load into the main menu.
  • You will see a few options in the main menu. Select the option to “Join Lobby.”
  • You will then be shown a list of active lobbies you can join. These are lobbies filled with players. Select the one you wish to join and click on the ‘Join’ button.
  • This will throw you right into the lobby, and you will then have to select your side. Pick between the Sorcerers and Warlocks. The host will then start the match, and you can jump right into the action. We recommend picking the side that has a player deficit to keep things balanced. This is only for instances where the lobby isn’t full all the way.
