This guide provides an overview of the Fate Remembered World Quest, explaining how you can complete the side quest in Titan Quest 2.
Titan Quest 2 throws players into a world inspired by Greek mythology. In addition to the main storyline quests, the early access version also offers various side quests, a.k.a World Quests. While some of these explore the lives of NPCs, others focus on the different mechanics of the game. The Fate Remembered is one such quest, tasking you to harness the power of the game’s unique mechanic, the Remnants. The quest revolves around reliving the combat memory of a powerful enemy you have defeated earlier. Find out how you can complete the Fate Remembered quest in Titan Quest 2.

Fate Remembered Quest Guide in Titan Quest 2
1) Initiating the Quest
The Fate Remembered World Quest triggers once you have acquired a Remnant from a boss. Certain bosses in the world drop a maroon-colored item upon defeat, which serves as the Remnants for the corresponding boss. However, keep in mind that not all bosses drop Remnants, as you can acquire the special material only from certain bosses like Hippokampos, Aristomenes, Pan, and Dysepilogos.
2) Activating the Resummon
After acquiring a Remnant for a specific boss, head to a Ritual Shrine. You can find one in the northwestern section of Pyrgos city. Approach the Shine, interact with it, and select the ‘Use Remnants’ option. This activates the resummon mechanic for the specific boss tied to the Remnant. Doing so updates the Fate Remembered quest, leaving you with the final task of defeating the boss again.
3) Respawning the Boss
After activating the respawn function, head to the boss chamber through a nearby waypoint. As you reach the boss arena, you will find a Memory Knot, a glowing chalice structure. Interact with it and activate the function by paying a small amount of gold to revive the boss. Then enter the arena to face the boss again. Defeating a revived boss completes the Fate Remembered quest.
