In order to beat General Altan, you need to know the moves he uses and counter them:

  • Falling Rocks: As soon as the fight kicks off, General Altan will use his limbs to smash the ground. This will cause rocks from the ceiling to fall, and you can kick one of these rocks to send it crashing into the boss. This will break his shield and stun him for a while. Run up to him and attack him while he’s vulnerable.

  • Wave Attack: General Altan will smash the ground and send waves towards you. To dodge these waves, climb the wall at the other end, and then parkour across the columns hanging from the ceiling. Land behind him and attack to deal damage.

  • Charge Attack: The boss will charge at you. While this may seem intimidating, he will only charge a few meters at most. Try to parkour above and get behind him for a few free hits.

  • Limb Smash: If you lurk around in front of the boss too often, he will start attacking you directly with his limbs. It is important that you stay behind him as often as you can to be safe.

  • Beam Attack: Towards the final quarter of his HP bar, the boss will start charging up and launching beams at you. He’ll telegraph these beams with a silhouette. Jump up and parkour across the columns to avoid them.
