In the release trailer for Silksong, the release date for the game is shown as September 4th, with no year given. User Moth_LovesLamp was quick to take advantage of this gap in communication, posting a supposed update from Team Cherry that the game will instead be coming out on September 4, 2026.
3. Nothing Ever Happens
Daily Silksong News is one of the veterans of the community. He has dutifully kept the community informed on any Silksong-related news every day for over four years. After a long period of despair, the last few days have had Silksong updates being dropped daily.

There was a temporary period when searching for Silksong’s price would have Gemini telling you the game would cost $99.99. Although this no longer occurs, we have been unable to verify the same.
5. The One Piece… is Real?
One Piece is not a work that needs an introduction. The meaning behind this post is not hard to infer, with it mimicking Gol D. Roger’s infamous speech from the beginning of the legendary anime/manga.
The cherry (no pun intended) on top is that the post then incorrectly makes reference to Dragon Ball, another legendary series that has nothing to do with the joke at hand.
