Farm animals are a type of pet you can own in Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar. You will automatically receive your first chicken for free from FVelix during Spring 5. This is a part of the tutorial phase in which you will be required to take care of the farm animals.

Farm animals are just like your pets and deserve an occasional petting here and there. This will also increase their happiness level and bond with you. The happier the farm animals, the better the quality of the produce they will leave for you. The quality of the produce ranges from normal to good to excellent. Cows, alpacas, sheep, and buffalo love a good brush using the brush tool. The chickens, on the other hand, will appreciate it when you carry them around.
Feed Farm Animals
Feeding your farm animals is an important step to ensure they produce goods for you. Chickens require a regular dose of chicken feed on a daily basis. The other farm animals, namely cows, buffalo, alpacas, and sheep, can be fed fodder. If you find yourself short of cash or inventory, you can always let the animals out to graze in the field.
