How To Acquire Film Reels in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
Obtaining these film reels is a little tricky, as you need to perform a hold up on these specific enemies. It requires you to sneak behind guards carrying a film reel and approach them without getting caught. Once you get within the CQC range, point your gun at those guards. This will perform a hold up on those enemies, threatening them for information or valuable items. As you circle around and aim your gun at their vital points like the head, the guard will shake and drop their carried items, including a film reel.
This is the only way to get those film reels, as attempting any other method, such as CQC or tranquilizer, causes the canisters to break and disappear.
What To Do With 8mm Film Reels In Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater?
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater includes 15 film reels acquired from different guards across various areas. More than just a collectible, these 8mm film reels are actually playable. You can play them at the Secret Theater, an in-game hub for watching alternate cutscenes with a humorous twist. Keep in mind that the Secret Theater only unlocks after you complete the game once, but you can still collect film reels during your initial playthrough to access them later.
