When you first visit the boss arena, you will see a background of a robot that has similar designs with the Forge Daughter. For a while, this will be the only path that you can take to exit the Far Fields. But, after obtaining the Drifter’s Cloak, reaching this arena will trigger the Fourth Chorus Boss Fight. The Fourth Chorus is found in the bottom path of the Far Fields, just before the Seamstress’ home. It is also specially marked on the map with a big semicircle with an orb. But, you have to navigate till the end of the Far Fields on the right to obtain the Drifter’s Cloak. This item is necessary to trigger the Fourth Chorus Boss fight because it involves the use of the Drifter’s Cloak at the end.

When you first walk through the area, you will not trigger the boss fight, but notice a robot in the background. But after obtaining the Drifter’s Cloak, this turns into a boss arena where the robot awakens and starts attacking. There are no exits for this boss fight, and you will have to defeat it to get out.

The Fourth Chorus has a limited move set due to it being a gimmick boss fight. Here are all its moves:

  • Swipe Attacks: The Fourth Chorus swipes across the arena in a left to right or vice versa. It uses its bottom arms to swipe and deals one damage on hit. It can be avoided with a simple long jump.
  • Block Smasher: The Fourth Chorus looks at one of the platforms and smashes it down with his upper hands. Simply move to the other platforms to avoid. Deals two damage on hit. The hand attack also counts as a hitbox so not recommended to jump near it.
  • Ceiling Smasher: Smashes the ceiling while staying in place repeatedly, dropping rocks randomly in the arena. Deals one damage on hit.

How To Beat Fourth Chorus: Tips and Tricks

The Fourth Chorus in Hollow Knight Silksong has four phases. The first phase uses his swipe and platform smash attacks, the second and third adds the ceiling rocks with its first phase. But, the fourth phase destroys more platforms and opens up two air vents, which lead to two flintrocks. Destroying both of the rocks ends up dropping a big flintrock, which ends the boss fight. This is the only way to end the boss fight.

The first phase is mostly just dodging and moving out of its way during the platform smasher. However, one of the best attacking windows presents itself when you jump the swipe attack. If the boss goes from left to right, it will stay right for almost three hits of Hornet’s nail. This will help you quickly progress to the next phase.

During the second and third phases, the Ceiling Smasher attacks leave it very vulnerable to attacks as it stays in one place. This is the perfect time to deal lots of damage and stun it. However, be careful as the falling rocks are fully RNG, and you might have to dodge some.

The final phase opens up with the end platforms destroyed and two air vents popping up on both sides of the arena. You can end the boss fight there and then after using the Drifter’s Cloak and hitting both the rocks as fast as you can. This will instantly end the boss fight before the Fourth Chorus can even try.
