Learn how to create Crews, invite friends to them, and unlock their rewards in NBA 2K26 by leveling up together.
Crews are a new feature introduced with NBA 2K26 and serve as social platforms to grind together with friends and random players for Crew Rewards. Each Crew has a maximum membership limit of 50 players, and the entire Crew levels up as its members earn CXP (Crew Experience) by playing matches. The primary reason to do so is the Crew Rewards feature, which benefits all members for leveling up the Crew. One of the most appealing rewards you can obtain is a total of four Cap Breakers for reaching Crew Level 30.
How To Create a Crew in NBA 2K26
- Open the game menu and head to the Crews tab.
- Select “Start a Crew.”
- Choose the name, abbreviation, bio, team colors, logo, Crew background, Crew privacy, focus, active times, vibe, primary language, and regions.
- Crew Privacy: Open, Invite Only, or Private.
Alternatively, you can join a Crew by searching for it from the “Join Crew” option. Once you create or join a Crew, its logo and level will appear on your MyPlayer nameplate to show off your affiliation. Although the Crew Rank caps out at level 30, any score the members continue to earn will contribute to the Crew’s ranking on the Crew Leaderboards.

NBA 2K26: How To Invite Friends to Crew
- Open your Friends List (L1+R1 on Controller).
- Select the friend you want to invite from the list
- Choose “Invite to the City.”
- Join your friend in The Park if the invite option isn’t available.
- Open the Friends List again and select the same friend and choose “Invite to Crew.”
- Now your friend has to select “Invitations” in the Crews tab and accept your invitation to join the Crew.
Set your Crew Privacy to Open or Invite Only for invitations to work.
NBA 2K26: Crew Rewards
If you join a leveled Crew, or contribute as a member to Crew levels, its rewards become available to you. The Crew Rewards apply on a seasonal basis and are some of the best the game offers. The Season 1 Crew Rewards for NBA 2K26 include:
