When your MyPlayer completes 15 seasons, they will automatically retire, putting a full stop to the MyCareer mode. After this, you can start a new career with a new player, though.
But how long will it take to finish 15 seasons with an athlete? Well, that depends on a variety of things. A basketball match is divided into four quarters of 12 minutes each. If you simulate the exact same thing, one match will be roughly 50 minutes long. (48 minutes of playtime plus intro and outro) With this calculation in mind, you can expect to invest a whopping 80 hours in every season. However, most people will go with shorter quarter lengths.
If you set one quarter length to 6 minutes, you will roughly take 50 hours to complete one season.
