MyCareer in NBA 2K26 remains as one of the most played and fun game modes. There are a lot of quests that you need to complete in order to rank up in the MyCareer mode. With your custom player all set, you will then need to take care of these quests. One quest that you will encounter is the Trash Talk quest. NBA 2K26: Trash Talk Quest Walkthrough
The Trash Talk quest will automatically unlock after progressing a little in the MyCareer game mode. After playing for a while, you will see a quest marker on the map. Explore The City and you will find the marker easily. Make your way to the destination, and this will trigger a brief cutscene.
This location will most likely be near the park courts or some training facility on the map. Talk to the NPC at the location, and you will soon get a short task to complete. This will be a stat-based goal for the next few matches that you play. For example: complete 10 passes in the next match, get more than 5 assists, or complete 3 successful 3-pointers, etc.
The task that you will get will vary based on the position that your character plays. Do note that these tasks must be finished in official NBA games, not in practice sessions or friendly matches. When you manage to complete the given tasks, make your way back to the NPC that gave you this task. This will again trigger a cutscene where your character will boast about their skills, backing up their big talk.
