The Silkspeed Anklets in Hollow Knight Silksong is a type of tool that increases Hornet’s speed when equipped. In other words, it provides a speed boost to the run/dash ability. However, Hornet also consumes Silk at a slow but steady rate to activate the speed boost effect.
If you run out of Silk, the dashing speed returns to normal till you generate another strand of Silk naturally or through another method. To help you out, here’s how you can obtain the Silkspeed Anklets in Hollow Knight Silksong.
Silkspeed Anklets Location in Hollow Knight Silksong
The Silkspeed Anklets in Silksong are located in a hidden area known as Weavenest Cindril. It is locked behind a stone door located on the far right side of the Far Fields region. Moreover, to get the tool, you first have to defeat the Widow boss to get the Needolin ability. You can go to the location shown on the map above and use the Needolin to unlock the door to Weavenest Cindril.
Upon entering the area, sit on the bench located near the entrance to restore your health. Now, keep dashing to the right and activate the stone pressure plates. Do not jump or skip over any pressure plates, as doing so resets the puzzle. Run in a straight line to finish the puzzle and enter the locked room on the right. Inside, you can interact with a podium to retrieve the Silkspeed Anklets.

Best Use of Silkspeed Anklets in Hollow Knight Silksong
As mentioned before, the Silkspeed Anklets increase your dashing speed. It takes a blue tool slot to equip it and can be used in almost any Crest. This tool is designed to make traveling through new and old areas faster and easier. With the extra speed, you can complete time-sensitive quests like delivering food in The Great Taste of Pharloom.
You can combine the Silkspeed Anklets with the Flea Brew to further boost your running speed. Doing so raises your speed to the maximum allowed by the game. To get the Flea Brew, you need to find five fleas and return to the Flea Caravan. Using it not only increases your running speed but also the rate at which you attack.
