Borderlands 4 is an exciting first-person shooter title that is all set to release globally on September 12, 2025. The game is already out for pre-orders for all current generations of consoles and PC. This includes PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PCs. While the game will be released on Switch 2 as well, the release date for the Nintendo console is set for October 03, 2025.
Unfortunately, the game will not be available for older consoles like PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Whether the game will be playable on handheld consoles like Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion GO is still debatable. The Steam page of the game does not state that it will be compatible with Valve’s handheld device.
