2XKO Basic Controls Explained
Controls
Riot Games has officially posted the basic controls for each type of controller you can use for 2XKO. Each controller has their own arrangement of the buttons. However, they all have the same functionality. They all follow a simple and universal button setup.
If you are familiar with other fighting games, you should feel at home playing 2XKO. This means that adapting to the game’s controls will be a bit easier for you.
Universal Moves
To be familiar with the controls, Riot Games also shared some universal moves to check out. This should help players get familiar with the basic controls. Compared to other fighting games, these universal moves won’t be too overwhelming to players, especially for those who are new to the fighting game genre.
The universal moves are complete with various basic movement controls for 2XKO. This includes keys for movement, offensive attacks, defensive stance, a taunt, and how to use the tag team system.
Tag Mechanics
One of the key gameplay mechanics in 2XKO is the Tage Team. This lets you swap out characters as part of your combo. This mechanic is important, especially in duo matches. Tag teams are perfect for landing devastating and near-unpredictable combos.
Autocombos
Another feature you might want to check out is the Pulse Combo or the Autocombo. This feature lets you press the same attack button repeatedly and let the game complete the combos for you. However, keep in mind that it might not be reliable. It is still more efficient if you learn the right combos for your character.
Fuses
To spice up your combos, the game also features playstyle modifiers called Fuses. This changes how you play, like empowering your partner or combining Super Attacks.
Here is a quick rundown of each Fuse in 2XKO:
- Double Down – Combine your Super Attacks with your Assist’s.
- Freestyle – Handshake Tag twice in one sequence.
- Sidekick – Assist cannot be KO’d or tagged to and has unique tools to help the point.
- Juggernaut – Fight as a single champion with enhanced powers.
- 2xAssist – Empower your partner with multiple assist actions.
