The world of Hollow Knight Silksong is diverse, filled to the brim with fascinating creatures and secrets for you to seek out, with the Rhinogrunds being a prominent example. The Rhinogrunds are special enemies you can find while exploring the world of Silksong, and these creatures are just as tough as they present themselves to be.
Covered in a coat of armor and bearing a resemblance to a rhinoceros, the Rhinogrunds are a force of nature with their aggression. They charge at you like a train, and in the few instances that they do not, they resort to throwing boulders. They’re some of the meanest enemies in the game, and you have to find them if you’re seeking to fill out your Journal and 100% the game. If you’re not sure where to find them, this guide is for you.

Where To Find Rhinogrunds in Hollow Knight Silksong
You find the Rhinogrunds in about three different locations in Hollow Knight Silksong. The first of these locations is near the Far Fields fast travel point. You’ll find the Rhinogrund roaming about the area here, and you should deal with it immediately as it despawns upon leaving. If you miss this one, you can come back to it later in Act 3. Act 3 will spawn two more for you to hunt, which will suffice for the Journal.
The second point where you can find a Rhinogrund is during the Memorium encounter. This one is hard to miss, and you don’t have to worry about it despawning.

How To Defeat Rhinogrunds in Hollow Knight Silksong
Dealing with the Rhinogrunds requires you to manage their aggression. They give you very little time to breathe and constantly charge at you. Be prepared to jump over them and sneak up behind them. Their armor is weakest at the back, and this is the only spot you can exploit to deal damage.
Apart from the charge, you also need to be wary of their rock-slinging attack. They’ll use their horn to crack the ground and fling a rock at you. This rock is deceptively fast, so be ready to dodge the moment you see one fiddling with the ground.
