With the Takeover event live on Roblox, developers have released a dedicated experience for the event. The Takeover experience features the Tagtown, where you and your Crew can participate in different challenges. You can always go solo, but you will miss the Crew rewards. Creating a Crew is just as easy as joining one. Head over to the Crew HQ and start the process.

All Steps To Create or Join a Crew in the Takeover
As mentioned before, you can always go solo and earn solo rewards. However, the Crew rewards and Crew Creds are useful as well. Below are the steps to create and join a Crew.
- Visit the Crew HQ.
- Interact with the dialogue at the counter.
- You will open up the Crews menu, where you can either create or join a Crew.
- To create a Crew:
- Select the Create Crew option.
- Enter your Crew’s name and description.
- Customize the Logo for your Crew.
- Press Confirm to create the Crew.
- To join a Crew:
- Select the Join Crew option.
- Select one of the many Crews available to join.
- Alternatively, you can search for a specific Crew to join.
- To create a Crew:
- You can also get invited to a Crew, just accept the invite to join!
Keep in mind that you cannot create or join a Crew if you are already in one. You will have to access the Crews menu to leave your Crew first. Once you leave, you are free to create or join another. If you are dedicated to finding a Crew, you can check out your favorite creators and join their Crew.
More Things To Know About Crews
During the Takeover event, you can earn Solo and Crew Creds. To earn these Creds, you will have to compete in multiple challenges. Each challenge that you complete with the Crew will award Crew Creds. There will also be Crew-specific challenges that you must complete by cooperating with your crewmates.
If you choose to create a Crew, you will be the leader. You can promote or demote other Crew members. You will also have the right to kick a Crew member. Anyone from your Crew can invite others to join. Crews have a limit of 100 members.

Can You Upload Your Own Crew Logo?
No, you cannot upload an image for a logo. You can select one of 31 icon presets, 36 frame presets, and 27 background presets to create a logo.
When Will the Challenges Be Revealed?
The challenges will be revealed on September 12, 2025, at 10 AM PT.
Can You Join Any Crew?
Yes, you can join any Crew as long as the Crew is not full.
