The Putrified Ducts is a very important place you need to get to if you wish to see the Sister of the Void ending for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Apart from this, there are many other reasons you may want to visit this location, including fighting various enemies and getting more items.

However, getting to this location is particularly harder than most others, as it requires a bunch of Ancestral Arts and a decent amount of skill at platforming and timing your skills. Here is how to get to this location.

How To Reach Putrified Ducts in Hollow Knight Silksong

Requirements Before You Start

You need the following Ancestral Arts or items to reach the Putrified Ducts:

• Faydown Cloak
• Drifter’s Cloak
• Cling Grip
• Clawline

If you have acquired all of these, then you are ready to enter the Ducts. Once you unlock Songclave, rest up at the Bench, and head left from there to reach the location marked as ‘A’ in the image below.

From here, you need to follow the steps at the dedicated points as marked in the map, to reach the Putrified Ducts.

Path To Follow

Follow the given steps:

• Jump up and use the Faydown Cloak from Point A to reach B.
• As soon as you reach Point B, head right. Keep heading in a straight line while defeating or avoiding enemies.
• Drop down and head right once you reach Point C.
• Once you hit the wall at Point D, simply jump upwards using the Faydown Cloak. It might take a few tries, but you’ll discover a hidden path through the roof, which you can jump into, and immediately turn right to hit a lever.
• This will open a door and let you drop down. Just keep running until you reach the last Point E.
• This will be your hardest test yet. You must use the Faydown Cloak, Cling Grip, and Clawline all together so that you can jump onto the upper level by grabbing onto the wall.
• Proceed right and you will have reached the destination, the Putrified Ducts.
