EA claims that they are going to be more conservative about player Power Curves. To quote their exact words:

EA further confirmed that Rare Golds, ICONs, and Hero cards will set the standards of squads in FUT. Generally, the squads will carry a slightly lower rating than at the same point in FC 25. Moreover, the weekly campaign drops will feature smaller attribute boosts. Additionally, rewards and paid offers will also maintain this steadier curve.

Alternatively, campaigns, such as Team of the Year, Team of the Season, and Black Friday, are promised to deliver significant boosts.

  • Pace Trade-Offs: Boosting the speed of cards will result in trade-offs in other areas. EA claims this will make “pace-heavy” styles a choice and more balanced.
