The Golden Acorn is a brand new Prismatic gear that Grow a Garden players can obtain during the Fall Market Event. The September 13, 2025, update brings several fall-themed pets, seeds, and gear that you can get by participating in the Fall Bloom event. As one of the rarest gear items, the Golden Acorn can be quite tricky to get. What Does It Do?
You can use the Golden Acorn on one of your pets to instantaneously give it a pet mutation and reset its age back to 1. The only requirement is that the pet should initially be older than 40. This bypasses the need to put the pet into the mutation chamber. What’s more, it also has a lower age requirement, making it one of the best ways to give your pet one of the default mutations without a shard.

How To Get the Golden Acorn
You can get the Golden Acorn from the Fall Festival Gears Shop. The shop is located at the center of the event area during the Fall Market Event. As a Prismatic-tier gear, it is the rarest item in the shop, and you need to unlock it by contributing to the Fall Bloom event at least 17 times. You have to submit specific plants to the Harvest Tree NPC and fill up the Fall Bloom meter to contribute. Do it 17 times to unlock the Golden Acorn. Check out our Fall Bloom guide for more details.
Once unlocked, you can buy the gear for 10 billion Sheckles if it is in stock or pay 239 Robux.
