This Wish can be particularly hard to complete, as you need to complete it with a bunch of restrictions placed upon you. Here is how you can grant the Infestation Operation wish in Silksong.
How To Start Infestation Operation Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong
Infestation Operation is part of a larger wish, that being Rite of Rebirth. This wish is quite the important one, as it gets you access to the Witch’s Crest. You can start the Rite of Rebirth during Act 2 of the game.
Once you have started this wish, head to Greymoor. After you are in Greymoor, go to the upper left corner of the map to talk to Yarnaby. The path to reach here can be easily accessed by using the lift to the side of the Halfway Home, so make sure to activate it if you haven’t already. Once you talk to Yarnaby, she will then give you the Infestation Operation wish.
How To Complete Infestation Operation Wish
Your objective for Infestation Operation is to collect steel spines. These steel spines must be purchased from Crull and Benjin, a pair of bugs who are located in Sinner’s Road. These two are located in the upper part of the Jail on Sinner’s Road. Sinner’s Road itself can be reached from a variety of locations, including Greymoor. Though keep in mind that many of your abilities, including healing, will be disabled during the Rite of Rebirth and, by extension, Infestation Operation wishes.
Once you find Crull and Benjin, you can purchase the spines from them for 260 rosaries. A steep price, but one you must pay if you wish to get your full power back. Once you purchase these spines, you will complete the Infestation Operation. You can then head back to Yarnaby to complete the Rite of Rebirth as well, which will reward you with full access to the Witch’s Crest.
