Hollow Knight Silksong: Balm for the Wounded Wish Walkthrough

Balm for the Wounded in Hollow Knight Silksong is one of the last few wishes (quest) you get from the Songclave settlement. In this quest, you have to travel to Whiteward and search for Sherma, everyone’s favourite singing NPC in the game. He has posted a notice on the wishwall before leaving to collect supplies for the refugees in the settlement. 

If you have not yet unlocked Whiteward, it is one of the scariest places in the entire Citadel. In addition, you have to pass through the place to acquire the Clawline ability. That said, here’s a guide on how to find Sherma and complete the Balm for the Wounded wish in Hollow Knight Silksong. 

Location of Sherma in Balm for the Wounded Wish in Silksong

To find and rescue Sherma in Hollow Knight Silksong, you have to go to the right side of Whiteward. Typically, you have to start from the left and pick up the scent from Sherma’s belongings to create a trail. However, you can also use the pathing on the map above to reach her location directly. 

First, drop down from the Choral Chambers or use the elevator to climb down. From there, complete the entire left section of Whiteward to reach the right side. Now, run to the rightmost side of the area and climb to the top-right room. Finally, run to the left and enter the once locked door to reach Sherma.

Survive the Whiteward Gauntlet to Save Sherma in Silksong 

You can find a scared Sherma behind some blocked walls in the room. Moreover, he says he got locked in while searching for the supplies and heard some creepy moaning. This triggers the combat section, and you have to fight four waves of enemies to escape. Here are some tips to win the fight: 

• All enemies that spawn in the arena have short-range AoE attacks. It is best to hit them once and then run away. In addition, repeat this to defeat all the enemies easily without taking damage. 
• Use the wall grab to dodge most ground attacks. You can also pogo on enemies to safely attack from the air. 
• When multiple enemies are on screen, focus on one and defeat it. Doing so significantly decreases the likelihood of being caught off guard. 

After you defeat all the enemies, talk to Sherma to get a Spool Fragment as a reward. Moreover, he leaves to go back to Songclave with the supplies he found. In addition, you can use the Needolin to hear a more depressed version of his cheerful song.
