With Legends Z-A set in the same region as Pokemon X and Y, a few characters might return from the previous game to the surprise of fans.
Pokemon Legends Z-A has teased several returning characters from the last game set in the Kalos region. These include characters like the mysterious girl Emma and former Team Flare scientist Mable. So in this article, we will speculate about other potential characters from Pokemon X and Y, whose return would surprise fans.
5 Characters Whose Return in Pokemon Legends Z-A Would Surprise Fans
1) Sino and Dexia
In Pokemon X and Y, Dexio and Sina are assistants to Professor Sycamore. The two of them are also known to dress up as the Masked Heroes and played a key role in cleaning up after Team Flare’s activities. What’s interesting about these two is that they also appear in the Generation 7 games as part of the Zygarde sidequest. As Legends Z-A will be focusing on Zygarde, these two could show up once again as part of its storyline.
2) Xerosic
Xerosic is one of the more memorable members of Team Flare next to the big boss Lysandre. However, after Team Flare was defeated in the main story, Xerosic remained active in the post-game. He created a device called the “Expansion Suit,” with which he controlled the psychic girl Emma.
However, he eventually stopped doing so and freed Emma from his control, though he did leave her the suit. As Emma can be seen wearing the Expansion Suit partially under her civilian outfit, Xerosic showing up to see what his former pawn has become could be intriguing.
3) Alexa
Alexa is a journalist the player encounters very early on in Pokemon X and Y. She is the sister of the Santalune City Gym Leader Viola and would suggest various locations for the player to visit in Kalos. She could play a similar role in Pokemon Legends Z-A or even have a big news station reporting on the events that take place in the game.
4) Looker
Looker is interesting as he is the only character on this list who made his debut in a previous game. However, he develops a strong father-daughter bond with Emma over the course of Pokemon X and Y. With Emma being a part of Legends Z-A and running the Looker Bureau in Lumiose City left to her by him, Looker appearing would bring all of this full circle.
5) Lysandre
The first question on everyone’s mind upon seeing this entry would probably be, “Isn’t Lysandre dead?” However, we never truly see him die on-screen. It is merely implied that he was crushed under the rubble after firing the Ultimate Weapon. This could imply that he survived and might even show up in Legends Z-A.
Lysandre’s presence opens up a lot of possibilities. He could be a secret villain responsible for stuff like the Rogue Mega Evolutions. Or he could be an ally to the player, repentant of his actions in the past. The biggest potential twist could be that he is now immortal like AZ as a result of firing the Ultimate Weapon in XY. That twist alone could make his reappearance worth it in Legends Z-A.
