Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong adds new areas and bosses for you to explore and challenge, one of which is Skarrsinger Karmelita, the leader of the Skarr bugs. Where To Find Skarrsinger Karmelita in Hollow Knight Silksong?

You can only get to this boss after Act 3 starts. Moreover, you will need the Elegy of the Deep ability to be able to initiate the boss fight. You should also have the Silk Soar ability at this point, which will be crucial in activating a Bench near the boss room.

• Head to the Pilgrim’s Rest Bench, where you had to pay 30 Rosaries to enter. After that, exit the place, and head left.
• Let the wind currents carry you upwards, and take the second right on the map. Keep going in a straight line while jumping, dodging, or defeating enemies on the way.
• Once you exit the location, you’ll enter a darker room. Here, use the Silk Soar ability when you see a gap to find your Bench. Rest here and continue right.
• You will see a door to enter, and once inside, talk and start playing the Elegy of the Deep on your Needolin.

This will let you initiate the boss fight, where you have to jump up and go to the right side to find the entrance of the chamber. However, before the fight starts, you will have to fight two Skarr enemies. Defeat these, and the boss fight will start.

All in all, Skarrsinger Karmelita is a fast, tough, but fair boss. The run back is quite easy, and she doesn’t have a lot of moves you need to make note of. However, her simple moveset gets amplified in her final phase through sheer speed.

• Jump and Throw: Karmelita jumps straight up into the air while spinning. Once she reaches her peak, she tosses out projectiles in both directions. It is quite simple to just parry or jump to avoid entirely by dashing.

• Throw: She tosses out two of the same projectiles as before. However, this time she does it on the ground. So, she tosses one straight ahead, while the other is at a roughly 30-degree angle. Parry or jump over it.

• Triple Slash: She raises her arms and lunges forward while slashing three times. You should jump and use pogo attacks during this time.

• Jump and Crash: Karmelite willjump without spinning, but as she reaches her peak height, she’ll start spinning before crashing down on the ground near you. Furthermore, she will unleash spikes from the ground. Similarly to before, jump and pogo to avoid this attack fairly easily.

• Spin: She will stand still for a second before spinning and moving straight towards you. Either dash back or jump over it.

Second Phase

Once she takes enough damage, she will add the following moves to her arsenal:

• Charge and Spikes: She will dash from one end of the room to the other while raising spikes from the ground. Dodge up and hover using the Drifter’s Cloak to avoid it, or pogo jump.

• Jump and Double Throw: This is a variation of her first move mentioned above. Instead of tossing out one projectile in each direction, she follows it up with another wave of projectiles.

After this will be her final phase, but no major move set changes occur. However, she does raise the ferocity of all her attacks. It is best to defeat her as soon as she enters this phase.

How To Beat Skarrsinger Karmelita in Hollow Knight Silksong: Tips and Tricks

These tricks should suffice against this boss fight:

• Acquire the Cross Stitch Silk skill, as it can counter some of Karmelita’s moves. This is also vital for making one of the best endgame builds in Silksong.
• You shouldn’t try to be overly aggressive with this boss by sticking close. Try to get some hits in, and retreat.
• Retreating will also let you get some breathing room to react in case Skarrsinger Karmelita starts using some melee attacks or tosses projectiles.
• If you do not have Cross Stitch, then Pale Nails is another viable Silk skill, as it can home in on the Skarrsinger and deal good damage.
• Tacks are also a good Tool to use here, since she remains on the ground for the majority of the time and moves around a lot.
