Missions are an essential part of the progression of EA’s latest Skate. Players get various rewards and resources through these quests, and also learns about the basic mechanics of the game.

However, many players have encountered a bug among other errors lately that has hindered their experience and stopped them from completing said Missions in the Early Build. Primarily, there are two reasons for this No Missions issue to happen. In this article, we will explore the cause as well as some potential solutions for it.

EA launched Skate on September 16, 2025, in Early Access. However, there is no official date for a 1.0 release yet.

Potential Fixes for the No Mission Issue in Skate

The No Mission bug in Skate basically refers to players not being able to claim rewards for certain quests. This can happen when you complete a mission in the game, either fully or partially. The core of the issue is that when you do finish a mission, sometimes the game does not register the progression you just made, and it gets stuck.

However, the gameplay does not freeze in any way, and you are still free to do tricks and roam around. But since your progression does not get recognized, you do not get the reward or resources that come with it.

There is no official fix for this bug from the developers as of now. But we do have some potential workarounds that might work for you.

  • The first thing you can do is press the D-pad’s up button and hold it for a bit. By performing this action, you will go to the mission marker. From there, you can redo the entire mission. Yeah, this is not an ideal way and can be frustrating to many people. But you won’t have to restart the game, and it works most of the time.
  • The alternative method is to log out and then restart Skate. Once you log into the game again, the mission will be registered as complete, and you will get the associated rewards and progression. This is a more convenient way if a quest is too difficult and you do not want to replay it. However, it is a more consistent method and fixes your missions and progression without any additional issues.

If players still face issues despite applying these two solutions, then the best thing they can do is replay the entire mission. But do not worry, because most of the time. Lastly, sometimes the bug can also occur due to servers being down. In that case, simply try opening the game after a while when the servers are back online.
