How To Complete Passing Of The Age Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong

To start the Passing Of The Age quest in Hollow Knight Silksong, you first need to unlock the Silk Soar ability. You can acquire this skill during The Dark Below quest in Act 3. Once you have this ability, you will be able to access a vertical path using the Silk Soar at the far east edge of the Fleatopia region.

The path will lead you to a tunnel where you can see a golden tablet that you can inspect. Interacting with this tablet will begin the Passing Of The Age quest.

Find Mister Mushroom

The quest starts with you having to find Mister Mushroom throughout seven areas in Pharloom. You can use the hints provided to figure out which regions you need to look at. However, to make things quick, here are the seven locations:

Check Each Region

You have to roam around each region and look for a blue mushroom on the ground. When you see one, this is a sign that you are in the right area. The next thing you should do is play your Neediolin to summon Mister Mushroom. Keep in mind that you need to check the regions in order. Mister Mushroom will now appear if you try to skip a location. Fortunately, finding him will not be a challenge in most areas. The final location is where it gets tricky.

Riddle Description: Under chapel fallen to the monarch’s might.
Location: Between the area’s bench and the Chapel Maid, next to the Ruined Chapel.

Riddle Description: Over camp collapsed to the black thread plight.
Location: The pilgrim settlement in Bone Bottom; check the platform where Shakra spawns before you start Act 3.

Far Fields: Mister Mushroom Location 3

Riddle Description: Scorched field on edge, shells black and burned.
Location: Bottom east side of Far Fields, the area just before you reach the room where you get the Silkspeed Anklets.

Greymoor: Mister Mushroom Location 4

Riddle Description: Up towers spinning, near the surgeon spurned.
Location: On the top of the tower leads to the Wisp Thicket. It’s near the NPC named Yanarby.

The Slab: Mister Mushroom Location 5

Riddle Description: Cage of one who raged against the silken lie.
Location: In The Slab area, just left of the First Sinner’s Cage. You need the Key of Apostate to unlock this area.

Mount Fay: Mister Mushroom Location 6

Riddle Description: Fell heart of frost, who soars on high.
Location: Head to the bird’s nest at Mount Fay. You skip most of the climbing process with the Silk Soar ability.

The Cradle: Mister Mushroom Location 7

Location: Complete the platforming challenge leading to the top of The Cradle.
