As the first major PlayStation first-party exclusive in almost two years, there’s a ton of excitement surrounding Ghost of Yotei, and rightfully so. The game is not only a new chapter in Sucker Punch Productions’ “Ghost” saga, but also the sequel to one of PS4’s most iconic exclusives. Ghost of Yotei isn’t technically a direct sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, as it features a completely new protagonist and storyline. However, it is built on the foundation set by its predecessor, albeit with a ton of new features and improvements.

Much like Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, Ghost of Yotei is offered in two different editions. However, considering the increased prices, some players might be skeptical about picking up the Deluxe Edition. Here’s everything you need to know about Ghost of Yotei’s Deluxe Edition, its contents, and whether it’s worth buying or not.

Is Ghost of Yotei Deluxe Edition Worth Buying?

For the asking price of $80, the Deluxe Edition is quite an expensive purchase for a video game. And considering it only grants you a few cosmetic bonuses for the extra $10, it’s not really worth buying. Considering Ghost of Yotei follows a similar structure to its predecessor, you’ll find plenty of outfits and dye options, simply by playing the game. Furthermore, if you end up enjoying Yotei, you can always grab the Deluxe Edition Upgrade at a later date.
