In this guide, we will tell you how to start the quest, collect the required units, progress through the dungeon runs, and finish the final mission to unlock Broly as a playable Vanguard.
Steps To Unlock Broly in Anime Vanguards
Go to the Frozen Volcano Dungeon. Inside, find the remote item that begins the Broly questline. Once you pick it up, your first objective will appear.
- You’ll need these three units:
- Roa
- Frieza
- Goku Super Three Gogeta
- Frieza and Goku Super Three can be pulled from the banner.
- To unlock Gogeta: Summon Frieza, evolve him and place only him in your team. Run the dungeon solo for a 20% chance to unlock Gogeta.
- After collecting all three, evolve them to move forward.
- Clear dungeon runs: The second stage requires you to finish 10–15 Frozen Volcano Dungeon runs. These can be done solo or with a team.
- Unit sacrifice quest: Next, you’ll be asked to sacrifice certain units. Have extra units ready so you can complete this step without losing valuable ones.
- Defeat Frieza multiple times: You must defeat Frieza at least 10 times in the dungeon. Keep running until you reach the target.
- Save Broly in the dungeon: For the final step, collect all seven Dragon Balls during your run. The dungeon will shift into a red volcanic state. At this point, you’ll see a prompt to Save Broly. Activate it to complete the quest.
Once all tasks are done, you’ll earn the evolution item needed to unlock Broly as a Vanguard.
