Raging Conchfly Boss Location in Hollow Knight Silksong

The boss is located at the top of the Sands of Karak. The area itself is a platforming nightmare, and the Raging Conchfly probably has one of the hardest boss run-backs in the game. You will need the Drifter’s Cloak, Clawline Grip and the Faydown Cloak to reach the boss. So, before you attempt this boss, make sure to obtain all the abilities. Otherwise, the game will soft-lock your progress through the Sands of Karak.
Raging Conchfly Boss Fight Overview

The Raging Conchfly fight takes place in a small room that will test your movement skills. The fight is fast and leaves very little time for you to get your head straight. However, the boss’s moves are extremely curated and few. Raging Conchfly has two phases, where it will spawn mobs and get faster after you take half of its HP. Unlike the Beastfly, the mobs are directly related to the boss’s movements, so the fight does not feel like an RNG fest. Here are all the moves of the Raging Conchfly:
Phase 1
- Directional Conch Attacks: The boss starts drilling its conch towards the hornet in one direction. Deals two damage.
- Conch Projectile: Raging Conchfly opens its mouth and spits a projectile right in front. It can be parried, lasts for 4 to 5 hits till it disappears. The boss has a chance to throw two projectiles in succession.
Phase 2
- Multi-Conch Attack: The Conchfly summons its children for directional Conch Attacks. Mobs fly across the arena from top to bottom or vice versa. Deals one damage each. Can be attacked.
- Conch Missile: The Conchfly summons three bigger mobs for a missile attack. They move left to right and vice versa. There is no specific pattern, as they attack one after the other. Deals one damage each. Can be attacked. The boss also follows through with its drill attack after the mobs.
Raging Conchfly Boss Tips and Tricks in Hollow Knight Silksong

The Raging Conchfly is a fast battle that will test your reaction times and boss pattern recognition. Rather than sitting in one spot, it is essential for Hornet to keep moving. The safest way to deal some damage is to hit the boss when it attacks horizontally. You can pogo on the boss or attack at the end of its drill attacks. However, the boss can turn and hit Hornet sometimes.
During the Conch Projectile, you can use the Thread Storm ability right in front of the Raging Conchfly, destroying the projectiles as well as damaging the boss. The Flintstone tool is recommended as it deals extra damage to the boss, and the Cog Fly can also be used during the second phase, when attacking the boss becomes riskier.
