These are the five characters from the original game that are expected to appear with the full release of Hades 2.
The different characters of Hades 2 only add to the charm and ever-expanding world of the rogue-like. The original Hades had a huge cast of characters, which has already been surpassed by the sequel.
However, there are many characters that haven’t been revealed yet, who are expected to be released in the full release of Hades 2. Here are five characters who might appear in the game in the upcoming release.
Characters You Might Expect To Appear in Hades 2 Full Release
These characters might make an appearance soon:
- Fates
- Zagreus
- Sisyphus
- Persephone
- Nyx
1. Fates
The three Fates haven’t made a direct appearance in either game yet. Instead, they are responsible for gifting the Fated List of Minor Prophecies to Zagreus and Melinoe in their respective games. Chronos is responsible for their disappearance in the current game. Moreover, Melinoe has even received a request for help from the Fates. This makes their future appearance increasingly likely.
2. Zagreus
The protagonist of the first game would surely be a well-received character in the second game. Although, in a way, Zagreus has already made an appearance in a flashback cutscene. For now, he remains trapped under Chronos’ domain. The eventual reunion between Zagreus and Melinoe will surely be one to remember.
3. Sisyphus
Sisyphus was one of many Shades who could assist you through your breakout in the original game. He is currently absent in the sequel but remains unforgotten. His best friend Bouldy (a boulder) is found keeping Hades company instead. In a cruel twist of irony, Bouldy now accompanies Hades, while Sisyphus is nowhere to be found. It is likely that Bouldy would benefit greatly from reuniting with Sisyphus and opening up a bunch of fun dialogue.
4. Persephone
This one doesn’t require much explanation. Persephone is the mother to Melinoe and Zagreus, who now remains captive alongside a bunch of members of the House of Hades. There are two reasons why Persephone’s freedom would be important to the game.
Firstly, Melinoe’s interactions with her mother will surely be something you can enjoy, as her family is the source for Hecate’s apprentice’s wrath. Secondly, Persephone is also a goddess, which means that she could also grant boons to Melinoe in the future, once she is freed. This would be a cool concept which, would see her mirroring the role of Demeter from the original game.
5. Nyx
Nyx was one of Zagreus’ key confidants in the original game. Although she remains absent from the current story due to the overarching foe, Chronos, her presence is still felt in various ways. Many of Nyx’s children are found at the Crossroads and aid Melinoe in some way or the other.
These include Nemesis, Moros, and Eris. Moreover, Hypnos and Thanatos from the original game are also sons of Nyx; however, they haven’t had a prominent role in the story so far. So, it will be interesting to see how Nyx would interact with these new characters. Those are all the characters you might expect to appear with the full release of Hades 2.
