What Is the Salmon in Grow a Garden?
The Salmon is an Uncommon-rarity pet introduced in the Fall Market Event (second part). It visually resembles a real-life salmon fish, with a red-green body and brown spots (gills/scales). It’s tradable and has a moderate market value (around 10-50M Sheckles).
Salmon: Passive Ability
The Salmon’s unique trait is Salmon School, a passive ability that grants bonus XP (experience) for every other Salmon in your garden.
- Mechanics: Each additional Salmon multiplies the base XP gain for all Salmons in the group (example: 3 Salmons = ~2x XP per Salmon). This accelerates aging, increasing their weight and trait efficiency over time.
- Stacking and Limits: Abilities stack linearly. You can equip up to 8 Salmons for max effect. Feed with watery fruits (example: melons) for optimal hunger fill.
How To Get Salmon in Grow a Garden
Salmon is event-exclusive to the Fall Festival/Market Event:
- Primary Method: Purchase directly from the Fall Pet Shop (unlocks during the event near the main hub). Costs 50M Sheckles (in-game currency from selling crops) or 219 Robux. It’s Uncommon, so there’s a high stock chance vs. rarer pets like Red Panda.
- Hatching Alternative: If not in stock, buy Fall Event Eggs from the Pet Egg Shop (random restocks) and hatch them. Salmon has a ~15-20% chance from Uncommon slots.
