Players who want to level up in Skate have to pay attention to their neighborhood as well as their character. Indeed, the different areas in the city have their own leveling meter and play a crucial part in the game’s overall progression. Also, as you level up each zone from rank one to ten in Vansterdam, you get various rewards such as extensive item options in their respective shops and fast travel spots.

As we mentioned, leveling up in Skate is not about your character; it is about the entire neighborhood you are currently in. Naturally, the game has multiple neighborhoods throughout the sprawling city of Vansterdam, and you will have to explore each of them to boost your level. Similar to your Rep meter, every part of the city, aka neighborhood, has its own progression path. Just like your own progression, this is also connected to Rep.

Players can complete objectives, missions, challenges, and tricks and take part in various events in an area to gain rep for themselves as well as that specific neighborhood. By repeating this process, you gain more and more points for said area and help it reach the next rank. As for your current rank, you will be able to see it on the right side of your screen. While ranking up in one place does not get carried over to another, it does allow you to unlock additional content in that particular zone. Thus, if you want to 100% Skate, then you will have to level up each neighborhood separately.

Naturally, since you rank up your neighborhood through Rep, you get the rewards that come with it. However, leveling up each area also expands its associated shops and gives you access to additional new items.

Furthermore, not only that, but players also unlock more fast travel points, which in turn makes traversing the city easier and more convenient. In addition to that, if you want to unlock every single thing that a specific neighborhood can offer, then you will have to level it up and reach rank 10 in EA’s Skate.

If you want to level up your neighborhood quickly, then the best way to do it is to complete Story Missions in Skate, as they reward you with the largest amount of Rep points. Also, you can turn to side missions and other optional objectives to level up as well. Skate gives you Rep for simply playing the game, so in theory, you can boost your level just by skateboarding around Vansterdam.

Furthermore, Story Missions unlock gradually as you make progress and complete them. As for side missions, you can play them in any order you wish. If you are having some trouble completing these due to their challenging nature, then we recommend training solo or with friends before taking on the missions. Additionally, you can also replay challenges to practice as well.
