EA FC 26 continues the series’ tradition of having excellent optimization and minimal requirements, making it highly accessible on a wide range of PC hardware. The game runs on the same engine as its predecessor and performs identically. EA chose to do this because it allows players to find gameplay mechanics familiar from the last game, and the performance characteristics remain identical.

However, the PC version has some performance issues, like stuttering and inconsistencies with frame times. FC 26 is no different, as some users have reported micro stuttering and input delay. The game does not support upscaling technologies like DLSS or FSR. However, it does feature a Render Scale mechanism that performs very close to traditional temporal upscalers.

Below are the settings optimized for a wide range of hardware, starting with legacy GPUs such as the GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1060, and then moving on to lower-end options like the GTX 1660, RX 6600, and RTX 2060. Finally, modern entry-level to mid-range cards, such as the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, and RTX 5060.

Note: For cards such as the GTX 1050 Ti or any laptop GPU with 4GB VRAM, if the FPS is inadequate, utilize Lossless Scaling. If you do not have it, then resort to lowering the Render Scale to 60%. If you are stuttering, use RTSS (MSI Afterburner) and cap your frame rate to solve the stuttering temporarily. As for a permanent fix, the developers will hopefully release a patch to address the issue.
