With the latest Submerged Expansion update of Blox Fruits, we got a new Fishing Tournament event. But you must catch three Golden Carp before you can get in. Unlike rare event fish, Golden Carp is relatively easy to find. It looks like a regular carp but has a golden shine.

How To Catch Golden Carp in Blox Fruits
To catch a Golden Carp, you need a fishing rod and any bait. Follow these steps:
- Equip a fishing rod from your backpack.
- Go near the sea and cast your line with a Perfect throw.
- Wait for a red exclamation mark, then click the right mouse button.
- In the reeling minigame, keep the fish icon inside the moving rectangle.
The catch is RNG-based, but Golden Carp doesn’t require special conditions, so it’s easier than other rare fish. You need to submit your best 3 Golden Carps to the NPC; the higher the weight, the better rewards you will get.
Where To Get Fishing Rods
Fishing rods can be obtained from NPCs across all seas:
- Angler NPC: Skylands (First Sea), Green Zone (Second Sea), Hydra Island (Third Sea)
- Fisherman NPC: Frozen Village (First Sea), Kingdom of Rose (Second Sea), Port Town (Third Sea)
The first time you interact with a Fisherman NPC, you’ll get a free common fishing rod plus 10 Basic Baits to start fishing immediately.
Fishing Tournament Rewards
After catching three Golden Carp, you can join the Fishing Tournament. Rewards are based on the average weight of your top three Golden Carps:
- Top 1,000 players: Fruit Boxes and a special trophy
Check your rank by visiting the Tournament Master NPC at docks in areas like Frozen Village, Submerged Island, Floating Turtle, or Castle on the Sea. You can also buy bait and sell fish at this NPC. The event runs until September 22, 2025.

- Use advanced rods like the Golden Rod or Shark Rod for slightly higher odds.
- Even the basic rod works fine if you stay consistent.
- If you keep on fishing, the Golden Carp will appear eventually.
