Silent Hill F, the next mainline entry in the iconic horror franchise, is just a few days away from its official release date. Much like last year’s Silent Hill 2 Remake, there’s a ton of excitement surrounding Silent Hill F, and for valid reasons. Not only is the game touted as a “return to form” for the long-dormant series, but it also comes right after the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake. However, unlike the remake, Silent Hill F is a mainline title in the series, albeit one that takes the IP into a completely new setting and time period.
And with the game’s launch looming ever closer, Konami has finally revealed the launch schedule for Silent Hill F. Here’s everything you need to know about Silent Hill F’s release date, pre-load details, and more.

Silent Hill F is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, there’s a catch to the game’s launch. If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game, you can start playing Silent Hill F 48 hours before the official release date. Furthermore, regardless of the version you pre-order (purchase), you can already start pre-loading the game on all platforms. Do note that on PC, pre-load is only available for the Steam version of the game.

Silent Hill F Pre-Load Schedule
Silent Hill F is currently available to pre-load on all platforms. The game’s file size is roughly 45 GB. However, after installing it on your PC, the game will take up to 47 GB of storage. On consoles, Silent Hill F takes roughly 44 GB of SSD space. Do note that post-launch updates and DLCs will increase the game’s file size in the future. Additionally, for Deluxe Edition owners, all the DLCs (cosmetics and Omamori Charm) are installed alongside the pre-download.
