As you slay zombies and parkour in the world of Dying Light The Beast, it is rather easy to get carried away and commit some mistakes. Avoiding these mistakes will surely enhance your gaming experience.

In this article, we will discuss five such mistakes you must avoid in Dying Light The Beast.

5 Mistakes to Avoid in Dying Light The Beast

1. Not Checking the Quests for Their Rewards

One aspect of the game that you can easily miss out on at the early stages is that you can view the Rewards of the Quests in your Journal before you complete them. Moreover, you can hover your mouse pointer over the Quest on your map to have the rewards revealed. If you want a crossbow or a trap, find the mission that will provide you with that weapon.

2. Opting for the Drop Kick Instead of the Dash Skill

We get it, the Drop Kick Skill is fun. However, it takes a lot of stamina, and once you are on the ground, you are a sitting duck for a good second or two, at the mercy of any hostile nearby.
Instead of the flashy Drop Kick, the Dash will serve you well while escaping hordes of zombies in the beginning.

3. Breaking Your Lock Picks

Your lock picks break on the eighth attempt. To avoid this, exit the lock pick minigame and start over. This way, the health of your lock pick will be restored, and you will never break another lock pick in the game.

4. Fighting Zombies for Experience

Experience is vital for your progress in the game. However, getting into a fist fight with every horde of Zombies you see is not the best way to farm experience. The experience gained from a Zombie kill is roughly around 15. To put it in context, you’ll need 20,000 XP to go from Level 4 to 5.
To gain XP, you are better off completing Quests than taking tedious fights against Zombies.

5. Searching for Better Loot at a Higher Level Area

The loot you receive is tied to your current level. For example, if you find a weapon in a Level 6 Zone while being at Level 2 yourself, the said weapon will be at Level 2. However, to unlock the map and Safe Zones, you must venture through the full map. However, do not expect to find higher-level items lying around there.

Once you have progressed to a higher level, venture back to the places you have previously trodden. There are chances you can find new items.
